Spotlight Programs Board is a university-sponsored, student programming board that coordinates activities to enhance and enrich the quality of student life at Georgia State. Spotlight addresses the needs and interests of the diverse student body by providing social, cultural, educational and entertainment events on campus. Most events are free and open to the university community and range from Campus MovieFest, the Distinguished Speaker Series, Panther Prowls, Greek Showcase and the annual Pantherpalooza spring concert.

Cinefest Film Theater and the Gallery Lounge
Spotlight oversees Cinefest Film Theater, a 133-seat student-run movie theater that shows blockbuster movies, independent films and cult classics free to students. Cinefest features a concessions stand that sells popcorn, beverages, candy and snack items before and during movies, and the theater can be reserved by student organizations for special programs and events.

Spotlight also coordinates art exhibits displayed in the Gallery Lounge, a place where individuals can exhibit their creative work in a gallery setting while learning to curate their own shows. On the third floor of Student Center East, the Gallery Lounge offers a quiet, enclosed space for studying or resting and can be reserved for receptions.

Spotlight prides itself on its large impact and contribution to Georgia State University campus life. Student can leave their mark by getting involved. Spotlight is always looking for committee members to assist with the planning programs, as well as volunteers to help with events throughout the year.
