Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Named Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal


Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms was selected as Homecoming Grand Marshal for the Georgia State University 16th Annual Golf Cart Parade, presented by Spotlight Programs Board. The Golf Cart Parade allows student organizations, university departments, local businesses, friends, and families of the Georgia State University community the opportunity to show off school spirit. Grand Marshals are selected based on their recognition as successful alumni of Georgia State University or for their significant contributions to the success of Georgia State University.

Rental Request

Need snacks for an event? Spotlight Programs Board is proud to offer equipment rentals for popcorn, cotton candy, and new snow cone machines! This is a great way to encourage students to attend programs and adds a bit of fun in the process!

Rentals are $50 per day. Concession supplies are available for an additional charge. The rental form on Panthers Involvement Network (PIN) includes further rules and pricing details. The application requires the organization’s name, event date, time and location, a brief description of the event, and payment type.

The Spotlight Programs Board is composed of nine active programming committees and the student-run Cinefest Film Theater, all of which work toward the continual fulfillment of our mission statement.
CinefestCinefest Film Theater
Cinefest is the student-run movie theater. In operation since 1991, Cinefest screens a wide variety of films for the community including cult classics, foreign films, documentaries, independent films and Atlanta premieres.
