Spotlight, a program within the Division of the Student Affairs, is the official programming board for Georgia State University. Spotlight coordinates activities that enhance and enrich the quality of student life by addressing the needs and interests of its diverse student body. The Spotlight Programs Board (SPB) is a Georgia State University student-run organization that works to create social events on campus. Most events are free and open to the campus. Spotlight brings a variety of exciting programs to the Georgia State community, including the Annual Haunted House, both large- and small-scale concerts, Panther Prowls, Homecoming festivities and Spring Fling. They also help fund the student-run Cinefest Movie Theater on campus that shows both blockbuster movies and the more eclectic cult classic films. Spotlight prides itself on its large impact and contribution to Georgia State University campus life. Spotlight is always looking for committee members that assist with planning our programs as well as volunteers to help with the execution of our large-scale programs.
